                                          ~Opening the heart~Please join us for these chilled-out and spiritually-enhancing events. This is a unique opportunity to join us on four Sundays to practice and establish mindfulness in our daily lives, in a nurturing environment.Mindfulness is an ancient tradition which is becoming increasingly popular.  It has been demonstrated to be highly effective in reducing stress and improving physical and mental wellbeing.  we have combined a mixture of sound therapy, theory and a warm loving atmosphere to provide a great exprience Benefits from attending the Summer School include: *Learning to establish your home practice *Connecting with like-minded people  *Learning new approaches to managing stress*Becoming more tolerant of others and ourselves *Achieving a calmer and more peaceful outlookThe sessions will include: – Walking, sitting and standing meditation – Mindful movement

Lorna Heath,The gift of sound
Lorna is a typical earth mother archetype, truly one of a kind and very gifted singer songwriter. Living in Milford on sea, originally training in nursing, Lorna has worked as part of the st Gorges team for over 30 years providing care and events for the elderly.  The Gift of Sound including a range of vocal toning,Tibetan and crystal bowls sound experiences which we provide as an initiation ceremony on the empowerment weekends. This provides a unique combination for our events and we find that sound waves generated from the bowls have a unique way of penetrating deep into our bodies and activating a healing process. William Fley- Forgiveness
Sheri Gadd-  Mindful movement
An accomplished, versatile and experienced professional teacher with a wide career in the FE sector having taught English at all levels and Mindfulness Meditation for over 30 years. Now retired from full time teaching at Bournemouth & Poole College, Sheri continues to tutor English as well as effectively and confidently teaching, guiding and supporting others in meditation practices and mindful movement. She has completed extensive training to deliver Mindfulness for Health, Mindfulness for Stress and Mindfulness for Pain Management courses, in accordance with government guidelines and the UK Network of Mindfulness-based teacher training and is continually updating her skills and knowledge through personal retreats, lectures, books and courses. She has been practising meditation for over 45 years
Sheri enjoys challenging and rewarding teaching roles within educational establishments and the health, fitness & leisure industry. She applies the transferrable skills, knowledge and expertise gained throughout previous experience in the teaching sector to improve the health and experience of all, both those new to meditation & mindful movement and those with more experience. Her aim is to serve others and help all individuals achieve a happier, healthier, more compassion and peaceful existence.
Sheri is delighted to be able to support and work with The Meditation Circle and offer her services to events such as New Forest Mindfulness Summer School. She also offers 8 week Mindfulness for Health and Mindfulness for Stress courses as well as general meditation days for groups and corporations.
