The greatest tools you have available are already within you. Some of us require a bit of help undoing some of the burdens and loads that we are carrying. We may have spent a lifetime trying to undo life’s difficult trials and traumas; but only you can make a decision as to when to let go and what that would look like. Freedom is a unique gift which can cannot be takes for granted.
In this 6-month course we have the unique time to embrace and ponder some of life’s greatest deep questions and hidden meanings,. through mindfulness, discussion, analysis and presentations.
 
The dates:
 
December 1st, January 5th, February 2nd, March 2nd, April 6th and May 4th. We will be meeting on the first Saturday of each month,
from 10am- 11:30am.
 
About the presenters:
 
William is a trained mindfulness teacher with the Beathworks
model and a psychotherapist. He is interested in working with individuals who have had challenges in life.
Tim is a motivational speaker and runs mindfulness retreats. Tim has worked for 7 years in various settings from universities, facilitating groups and one to one sessions.
 
Cost £100 for 6 sessions or £25 per session Including tea, coffee, and pastries, we all also provide concessions for those who would like to attend and are not able to.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a practice that has developed over some 2,500 years.  It is defined as “paying attention in a particular way; on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally.” (Jon Kabat-Zinn).

Daniel J Siegel tells us that “Mindfulness in its most general sense is about waking up from a life on automatic.”  And Sharon Salzberg that “Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention in a way that creates space for insight.

Benefits of mindfulness one-to-one instruction include:

    • Bespoke sessions, tailored specifically to your own particular needs after an initial consultation with the teacher, a dedicated time for you, including to discuss specific relevant issues.
    • The ability to work at your own pace, and discuss your personal progress whilst getting more in-depth support.
    • A private, safe, nurturing environment.
    • The Meditation Circle offers private one-to-one mindfulness sessions with one of our experienced mindfulness teachers in a purpose built meditation room in the heart of the New Forest. Home visits can also be arranged.
    • Each course is tailor-made to suit your needs, and is held at a time to suit you. Areas that we work with include stress, depression and pain management.
    • Each session lasts for 60 or 90 minutes and can be weekly, monthly, or designed as an 8 or 10-week course based on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
    • Sessions are structured around you, but typically can include basic or advanced mindfulness instruction, discussion, sitting, walking & lying meditation, body scan, loving kindness meditation etc.
